用户注册：

登录http://www.collegeboard.com/,点击For students，出现registration页面，在My Organizer点击Sing up，注册一个account，有些信息是必填，有些是选填的，提交后得到用户名和密码，（注意邮信等地址中不要有，。等符号，用空格即可）。进入My Organizer页面

考试注册：

1) 办一张可以在网上支付美元的国际信用卡，并且开通网上支付（比如中国银行——长城国际信用卡等双币卡）这个是最重要的准备工作。以下填写的内容除了姓名，考试日期，考点等重要信息以外，在考试之前9天都是可以再次登录修改的。考试日期以后也可以改，但是属于改考，需要付费

2) 在My Organizer页面左下角，点击SAT Registration&Scores，进入SAT考试报名页面，要求再次输入用户名及密码，确认姓名、出生日期等

3) 在进入My Organizer页面，填写一些种族，学校，学习成绩，学术兴趣，未来研究方向等信息，这些不是必填的。有约五页的内容要提交，之后才正式进入SAT Registration页面

4) 同意SAT考试的条款，进入下一页，这下面是最重要的地方，选择考试的类型，年级，中国的高三相当于美国的12年级，注意考试地点选美国以外。提交，下一页选考试时间，里面会显示现在能报名的考试日期，下一页是收费的考试辅导服务，不必选，再下一页就是选择考点，首先点击search for a teat center，进入另一页面选择考场，先选择地区，出现该地区考场列表，只显示还剩余考位的考场，报名截止日期一般是考试日期的前一个月

5）下一页是选择要递送成绩单的学校，可以免费送四所，在考试日期结束后一周内，还可以登录修改送分学校。下一页买辅导书，国内现在已经有售，不必选

6）再下一页确认信息，填写信用卡号，确定你的名字，出生日期与身份证上一致，名在前，姓在后，信用卡上的号码、类型、有效期不能有误，SAT I含写作的考试费用共99.5美元，SAT2基础费用20+26，每一门12美元，一般报三门共73美元。交费，submit payment（具体考试费金额以官网为准）

7）回到My Organizer，上面会显示你的报名状况，没有报名成功可以再次提交

注：SATＩ与SAT2的报名时间和方法一样，SAT2科目的考试题目都在同一本试卷上，每科考试时间1小时，一个考试日最多可以报考3科，在考试当天选择所报的科目答卷即可。

SAT考试报名照片要求：

　1、护照或钱包大小(规格：从2 X 2 到2.5 x 3 英寸)，必须至少640 X 480 像素；

　2、照片必须正常聚焦，无颗粒感，亮度与对比度适当，显示为面部的正面，清晰为准，照片中不出现其他人；

　3、外观与考试当天符合；

4、免冠，无遮盖

5、照片格式：jpg/gif/png。

1. 什么是SAT考试？

SAT全称Scholastic Assessment Test，中文名称为学术能力评估测试。它是由美国大学委员会（College Board）主办的一项考试。

2. SAT成绩的作用？

SAT考试俗称为"美国的高考"。中国学生如果希望就读美国名牌大学，不能够仅递交托福成绩，同时还要递交SAT成绩，因为美国排名前50的名牌大学全部要求学生递交SAT成绩，故SAT成绩是世界各国高中生申请美国名校学习及奖学金的重要参考依据。

3. SAT考试时间？

SAT在美国本土每年有七次考试，分别在三月、五月、六月、八月、十月、十一月和十二月举行。其他国际考场每年四次考试，分别是三月、五月、十月、十二月。每年的具体考试时间请查询www.collegeboard.org

4. SAT考试地点？

目前中国大陆没有SAT考点，中国学生要参加SAT考试可以办理一张港澳通行证，去香港考试。台湾、新加坡、泰国也有考点。

5. SAT的考试费用？

美国学生报名费是41.5美元，中国学生的报名费是63.5美元，如果考完后需要"student answer service"(考完后ETS考试中心将考题寄给学生)服务需要多加10美元，为73.5美元。

要想明白SAT分数的计算方法，首先，我们得介绍两个基本概念：原始分数、相对成绩百分比。

SAT的每道题分数相等。不管题目的难易程度，SAT每道题分数相等。答对SAT一道题，得一分；没有答，没有分

原始成绩：答对题数乘上1等于原始成绩。

相对成绩百分比：统计出同一次考试考生的原始成绩与相对的百分比成绩。

SAT成绩：将原始成绩，按照一个相对的比例，映射到200至800的表格里。每一次考题的内容不同，所以，很难用原始成绩来评价两次考试的成绩高下。而通过这种统计方式得到的相对成绩百分比，可以相对的告诉大学的招生人员，每个学生的相对水平。比如说阅读：一次SAT考试，最好是前1%原始成绩是100分（100道题）；而另一次的SAT考试，最好的前1%原始成绩是99（100道题）。那么，按照原始成绩，100分就要好于99分。这显然不合理。所以，经过将原始成绩按照一个对应关系映射的200至800之间更有实际意义。

新SAT考试相关计分原理

I. 原始分（Raw Score）

要测算你的分数，首先对照答案判断你的回答对错。然后，计算你每部分答对的题目个数就得到了原始分（raw score）。使用下表帮助你计算最终分数。

II.等级分（scaled score）

一旦你得到了每部分的原始分，就可以通过下表计算大概的等级分（scaled score）。要计算每部分的等级分，找到每部分对应的原始分所在的行，然后找到同一行所对应的列。

比如，如果你的阅读分数是48分（答对48道题），那么相对应的等级分为39分。不要忘了这只是估计的分数。你的实际分数（等级分）还要根据同一天参加考试的其他考生的成绩进行相应的计算。

III. 分科分数转换

你可以查看各科的800分制分数。方法：把阅读+文法的等级分相加，并对照下表（表一），得出最终分；把数学的等级分，对照下表（表二），得出最终分。两个最终分相加，就得到了1600分制的最终成绩。即：（阅读+文法的最终分）+（数学最终分）=总成绩（400-1600之间）
